I’ve been fortunate to work for Sprout Family Services since 2022, supporting families in Sprout’s outlying service areas of Seward and the Aleutian and Pribilof islands, as well as the Homer area and across the bay. As an occupational therapist, I value Sprout’s family-centered, holistic approach to promoting the healthy development of children. One of my favorite things about working for Sprout’s Infant Learning Program is the emphasis on working with families in their homes and natural environments—whether in person or during virtual visits. This structure allows services to take place in the child’s most comfortable setting with active participation from caregivers.
